I am Ellie, a Chinese high school student and I am currently studying in an international school. I like listening to many kinds of music, but my favorite genre is K-pop. I hope more people can learn about this type of music.
How did I get to know K-pop
When I was in elementary school, influenced by my classmates, I learned about EXO. It’s a South Korean-Chinese boy band. But my love for them did not last long. A few years later, I went to junior high school and began to listen to their songs earnestly. I watched their music videos and started to love this type of song completely. They are more powerful than I thought. The perfect combination of singing and dancing gave me a completely different feeling. Around 2018, I started to learn more about K-pop songs. I learned about groups such as Super Junior, f(x) and listened to a lot of their songs. I ended up completely falling into this genre of music.
Why did I start this blog?
Because I love this culture. I want to share K-pop with everyone. Even now, some people still have misunderstandings about K-pop culture, and think that those singers are just good-looking and have no strength. Because of this kind of thinking, many people miss high-quality music. So, I hope to make this blog and let more people discover the charm of K-pop music through it. Anyone who likes upbeat music or lyrical music can all try to understand K-pop culture, so I welcome everyone to browse my blog.
