FLY HIGH PROJECT is an annual project belonging to N.Flying. The members of the band will personally participate in the production of the songs. N. Flying is a band launched by FNC Entertainment on October 1, 2013. After the change of membership, the current members are Lee Seung Hyub, Cha Hun, Kim Jae hyun, Yoo HweSeung, and Seo Dongsung. In addition to Korean albums, they also released songs in Japanese and Mandarin.
On January 2, 2019, they released the second single album “Rooftop” of their music project “N. Flying FLY HIGH PROJECT”. Until March, the song counterattacked on the music charts and won first place on three Korean music websites for the first time for the band.

Rooftop (옥탑방) is what Koreans call a kind of loft. This term mainly refers to the highest floor of the house. It is a simple attic. This kind of small room has a lower floor height and is cold in winter and hot in summer. The overall condition is not good.
This “Rooftop” is a rock style song. The lyrics tell a very sad story. Lee Seung Hyub described that it’s about a person breaking up with his girlfriend. He recalled the scene when they sat on the roof and watched the stars. Although the stories and songs described for rooftop are not special in Korea, this song still allows people to easily distinguish it. People can feel the special side of the band through this song.
The song begins with the voice of a lyrical and emotional lead singer, followed by the sound of the musical instruments coming in. Coupled with the voice of another treble lead vocal, the high and low sounds match very well.
During the interlude, the guitar and drum set work perfectly. They add sparkle to the song. Although the song is not the kind of brainwashing song, it does make people have the desire to continue listening after listening to it again.
The song itself gives people a youthful feeling, but the lyrics reveal sadness. In the lyrics, “Every time I look up in the sky, but there is no star” reflects the loneliness, which fits the pain after the couple broke up. This sad song is sung in a cheerful rhythm.
